An extension that integrates Zotero with Quarto/LaTeX editors for reproducible research workflows.
Around 2025, I started to use Quarto for my research writing (and one day I’ll be able to completly ditch Microsoft Word). With this workflow, I can write code for processing data, running analysis, generating figures and tables, and writing the manuscript in a single document.
The only problem was that VSCode (or Positron I started using) had pretty poor support for reference manager. Because Zotero is my reference manager of choice, I decided to write an extension that integrates Zotero with VSCode for adding citation entries to Quarto and LaTeX documents.
